WHO WE ARE

Beaded moose hide bags, exquisitely beaded earrings with playful rabbit-fur pom poms, unique contemporary gemstone jewellery, hand-painted drums, original paintings in both traditional and contemporary styles, moccasins, moose antler carvings and so much more can be found in The Artist-Led Indigenous Art Market. Over 30 First Nation, Metis and Inuit artists representing several nations – Mohawk, Cree, Ojibway, Dene, Saulteaux - participate in the Market and sell their work there.

The Market is located in Toronto’s Leslieville community where it has secured a firm foothold. The Market has become a destination point for international visitors as well as visitors from across Canada and the GTA. The Market has become known for its wide range of authentic Indigenous-made offerings that are traditional, contemporary or a fusion of both.
​

The Artist-Led Indigenous Art Market is a collective of artists managed by a core team of artists who work in a wide range of mediums and representative of all ages, from 25 years of age to 80 years of age.
